War of 1812
Outline role of Six Nations
Highlight events leading up to and during the war

Effects of 1812 on the Six Nations past and present
Zig will come dressed as a Caldwell’s Ranger, an officer of that time period. He will also bring information based on his current role as chairman of the 200th Anniversary of 1812 which includes Brantford, Six Nations, Brant County. Zig will link the past with the present.

American Revolution
Outline role of Six Nations
Authentically uniformed as a Butlers Ranger officer Zig will explain the role of the Butlers Rangers and their unique association with the Six Nations in the 18th century.
Zig has been a re-enactor for decades having travelled thousands of miles to historic sites in Canada and the United States recreating events of the past. The Haudenosaunee, Six Nations, were impacted greatly during this time and feel its effects today. Zig explains historic events and threads them to the present.
