During the official dig at J. Butlers homestead site I was allowed to hold two buttons. One was gold plated, round and bone backing the other on the right was tarnished. Photo by Z. Misiak

Also at the official dig on Butlers homestead at Niagara on the Lake i was allowed to hold a fork and musket butt plate. The home was burned 1813 by Americans.
