French & Indian War                             American Revolution                                      War of 1812

Wearing authentically reproduced uniforms, living in period military tents (and often simply on a blanket under the stars), surviving by using time period tools and utensils. Listen to actual battle re-enactments recounted on original sites spanning three major time lines from the French & Indian War, the American Revolution, and the War of 1812. Using images from the past and present Zig’s presentation is not only informative but entertaining. As a Butlers Ranger of the American Revolution and a Caldwell’s Ranger of the War of 1812 Zig portrays a liaison officer working closely with the Haudenosaunee (Six Nations). This is consistent with historical reality and fact and also aligns with his current ongoing affiliation with the Six Nations from a personal and First Nations historical educational perspective.
